Hospital care

  • When coming to the hospital, please bring with you any letters of referral or previously prepared documents concerning treatment, your identity document, the results of previous medical examinations and analyses, personal medications, sanitary products, indoor footwear and necessary aids (glasses, hearing aid, crutches, walking stick, etc.).
  • If desired, you may also bring: personal clothes, stationery, books, a personal computer (the hospital has Wi-Fi), etc.

Planned rehabilitative care

Rehabilitative care patients are received on the date specified by the physician on the second floor of the hospital, at the station of the nurse on duty. It is advisable to be at the hospital before 10:00.

  • When coming in for planned treatment at the Rehabilitative Care Department, please bring your family physician’s or specialist doctor’s letter of referral. Hospital care is provided on the basis of a waiting list and requires prior registration by phone at 5301 2633.
  • If you have problems (colds or other illnesses, logistical issues, etc.) preventing you from coming in for rehabilitative care, please immediately inform the treating physician or call the nurse on duty by phone at 5301 2633.

Waiting lists for treatment are kept in accordance with our agreement with the Health Insurance Fund (4.1.6 and 5.1.13) and the regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs, “Requirements regarding the availability of health services and the keeping of waiting lists for treatment”.

Surgery

  • Surgery patients are registered into hospital care on the first floor (please come to the registration desk first).
  • If you have problems (colds or other illnesses, logistical issues, etc.) preventing you from coming in for rehabilitative care, please immediately inform the treating physician or call the Surgery Department at 605 9605.
  • The department secretary or polyclinic nurse shall draw up a medical history on the basis of your letter of referral and identity document.

Waiting lists for treatment are kept in accordance with our agreement with the Health Insurance Fund (4.1.6 and 5.1.13) and the regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs, “Requirements regarding the availability of health services and the keeping of waiting lists for treatment”.
